Ipsy Glam Bag

20130831-151505.jpgHey loves,

So about 2 months ago I joined Ipsy formally Glam Bag. For those who aren’t familiar with Ipsy it is a program in which you make a monthly payment of $10 and you will receive a package of 4-5 make up products. From what I gather its sometimes full size items other times sample size but for $10 who can be mad? I was on the wait list until August. I was soooo excited when I saw this in my mail box.

Yayyy!! I was over the top excited! Y’all just dot understand I was like 👯👯👯👯 kinda excited!! Sorry if you don’t have emojis and can’t see the dancing ladies. Ok I’m back lol. Well upon opening the package this is what I received.

I love love love the package that they the products came in. It’s super cute and reusable.

Ok so I’m back again…my bag came with:
NYX Blush: Angel
Michael Todd Exfoliating Cream: Jojoba Charcoal
Urban Decay Lipstick: Anarchy (sample)
Pacifica: Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream
Pixi: Lash Booster Mascara

Now I confess the blush will most likely not go with my complexion but I will share the deets anyway. Also, none of these product have been facially tested as of yet but I did do hand swatches.

1. NYX Blush Angel

Adding a healthy glow to cheeks is effortless with the variety of blush styles and shades available from NYX Cosmetics!

The NYX Powder Blush delivers sheer, silky color that glides on and blends beautifully creating a natural glow.

Now this I don’t think will compliment my complexion but I can’t and won’t complain.

2. Urban Decay Revolution: Anarchy

Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™ delivers insane color payoff with creamy shine, Maxi-Lip™ plumps and nourishing oils leave lips cushiony soft. Get the color you crave. Addictive to apply (and even more addictive to wear), this creamy formula glides on without dragging or skipping, hugs every curve and gives you a BIG laydown of color. There’s a wide range of colors – from gorgeous nudes to bold brights, there’s something for everyone. Our luxe, custom-designed gunmetal tube (lined in dark purple) features organically shaped facets that practically beg to be touched. You’ll want to keep pulling it out of your bag—whether it’s time to reapply or not.

3. Pixi Lash Boost Mascara

This unique mascara truly boosts your lashes, giving them a “push-up” effect that lasts all day. The dense, rich formula coats lashes with maximum pigment, for long-lasting full color and the cone-shaped brush coats each lash evenly. Long lasting, smudge-free and waterproof.

4. Exfoliation Scrub

The Jojoba Charcoal Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub is formulated using the powers of Jojoba Wax Beads and Activated Charcoal. This mask effectively removes dead skin, impurities and toxins, but is gentle enough for sensitive and acne prone skin types. Jojoba Wax Beads provide gentle exfoliation without leaving microlacerations on delicate skin. Highly absorbent Activated Charcoal penetrates deeply into pores to draw out impurities and toxins. Also refines texture and encourages skin renewal, leaving skin smooth and refreshed.

I have used this and it leaves your face feeling really soft.

5. Pacifica Multi Mineral BB Cream

The Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream hydrates, primes, illuminates, and perfects leaving a sheer bare skin finish. Specialized mineral pigments instantly adjusts to your skin shade allows one color to work for many and can be built up for just the right amount of coverage. Your skin will look natural, dewy, youthful and radiant without looking like you are wearing heavy make-up.

So this is what I got in my Ipsy bag. I’m super excited about all the possibilities and the future of Ipsy.

Have you heard of Ispy? Are you a member? What did you get in your August bag?
