Hey Fabbies,

I’m constantly thinking of new things to share with you all and I thought I’d share with you a main album I may have in rotation right now. To be honest I have an Ipod but I rarely use it. Due to my car being a 2006 I don’t have the AUX port to attach my Ipod but I do have an FM transmitter that works pretty good but still I’m an old fashion CD kinda girl lol. I’m rambling but I wanted to give you a little back drop and a peak into my drives to and from because I don’t listen to music any other time really. Anywho, I’m currently in love with Janelle Monae’s Electric Lady. This album is LIFE! If you want a different sound then this is a treat for you.

First of all she is GORGEOUS! She lets us know that you can be fierce, sexy and covered up at the same time. I love that she is different and not super commercial. From the hair to her signature black and white threads. She puts on an amazing show and she has GREAT energy. The album also comes with 19 songs! No one even gives us 19 song’s anymore well unless you are Bey who gives 17 songs and 18 videos but that’s another story. The collaborations are perfect and the transition and order of the songs is on point.  It’s the perfect blend of uptempo feel good music and music you can just sit back and mellow out to. It’s simply amazing and sadly she doesn’t get the exposure that’s deserved. I give this album 5 Stars! Great job!!!
