Hey y’all,

So I recently ordered the “Little Sexy” Glam Glow Youthmud TingleExfoliate Treatment Mask (LAWD that’s a long ass name) and could not wait to crack this baby open. To be clear Little Sexy is the small version of the Super Sexy “full size” and I use quotes because honestly you get minimal product in both jars.

glamglow3The jar is very sleek and old Hollywood with the Black and Silver detail and it’s very easy on the eyes. I love the way it looks. I’m a sucker for packaging. This jar is VERY small  with only 15ml / 0.5 fl. oz. When trying this product last night I used very little product. While I wish this was in a squeeze tube/bottle for sanitation reasons I can still work with it. If you have a small spatula reach for that or be sure to thoroughly wash your hands prior to dipping in to this product. glamglow2

The Product:

The box contains directions that has been translated into MULTIPLE languages so everyone can have an understanding of what to expect and how to use this mask. glamglow4The product it self has a greenish gray tint to it and like most mask isn’t all they great looking lol. The texture is grainy for exfoliation but still very soft and easy to work with. It also has actual bits of leaves incorporated into the formula. At first I was like “why won’t these chunks blend in” then I realized “oh it’s leaves!”.

Application:glamglow9I’ve read that this mask kind of burns but for me it simply tingled for a few moments and then it was over. It could have been because my pores weren’t open enough or simply because I’m used to the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque IDK. Anyhow, it goes on rather smooth and evenly and it didn’t take a lot of product to cover my entire face. I put a little more in my t-zone.

After about 3 minutes it started to dry. The lighter areas are the dry spots. I could no longer feel a tingle but my face tightened up quite a bit. glamglow6That’s how I was feeling don’t judge me! It was totally dry at this point. My face was tight but not the tightest it’s been when using a mask similar to this. It dried all the way down and is removed with warm water. This is where the exfoliation comes in. This mask should be removed by rubbing your face in a circular motion and you can feel the grains rubbing against your skin. glamglow7Just that face I’m back to the sleepy face. This is a very bare faced me. As you can see my face doesn’t look dull it looks hydrated actually. No I didn’t get the “Bruce Leroy Glow” but I did look healthy in the face and my skin was soft. Even though the mask sucked out the oil.

That’s the “YAY it’s time to go to bed face” After removing the mask I continued on with my regular night routine. I toned with Witch Hazel followed by moisturizing with Lush’s Celestial Moisturizer. My forehead looks big but my skin looks radiant! It looks hydrated and healthy and was super soft.

The Overall:

It’s a great mask…do I think it’s worthy of the $69.00? NO! That’s a pretty penny and nothing to sneeze at. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t cough up that kind money for such a small amount of product. If I could catch it on sale I would totally buy it though. It’s great for days when you want to have me time and pamper yourself.

Pros: Listed Above

Cons: Price $69.00 is ridiculous!

  1. wow that is pricey for that amount of product! I love mud masks and there are some products that probably works just as well for 1/3 of the prize 😛

PS your natural eyebrows looks amaze!

    1. Hey doll!! My thought’s exactly $24 is a lot for the small one $69 is simply insane. I won’t be purchasing the big one ever but I will milk this little one until it’s dry.

Thanks girl!! I’m a hair ball lol.

  2. I don’t have this mask but I did try the Mint Julep masque by Queene Helene you mentioned in a previous post. I looked everywhere and finally came across it in a beauty supply store. Girl, I love it! Thanks for the tip.

  3. one, your skin is amazing!

two, I bought the $20 jar of this mask and I agree I do not believe it is worth the price! The product actually dried out on me after having it for a few months. For $20 for that little bit I was so mad!

    1. Thanks girl…my skin hates me most days lol. It’s usually like…hmmm let me put some pimples here and here because we have been to calm let’s piss her off lol.

I fully agree and for $20+ it should last at least 6 months because it’s something you want to use sparingly. Now that I know the life expectancy is short I know that I need to use it before I lose it.
