Review|L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints

lagirllippaintsflash

Hey Beauties,

I know I’m soooo late but I wanted to get this up anyway. I recently ordered a set of the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints. Now, to be clear I know they now have an additional colors (which I plan to get in my life soon) but I still wanted to show the older shades. I ordered my whole set from Ebay but I think Lady Moss has a set of 6 and a set of 18 as well which includes the 12 new colors. Now there is always the option to just purchase these from a local BSS or where ever L.A. Girl products are sold. Not to mention just ordered from L.A. Girl Cosmetics site.

These lip paints come in small squeeze tubes and all though they are  compared to the Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks I don’t find this to be true at all. First the packaging is similiar but for $21 vs $4.99 what can one expect? They both have tubes that represent the color of the product inside and they both have a top that is gold. The difference being Too Faced Melted have a Matte finish and the L.A. Girl Lip Paints have a shine to them. I actually like them both though. The packaging although cheap is still cute and easy to hold. It’s small enough to fit in your purse.

applicator

The applicator is a small angled plastic top with a small hole in the center. The product comes out quickly so be mindful and I would suggest using a lip brush to apply this product because it is a little runny.

L to R

Hotmess|Bright Orange

Pin-Up|True Red

Baby Doll|Bubble Gum Pink

Blushing|Mauvey Pink

Coy|Pastelish Purple

Bombshell|Deep Fushia Toned Pink

You can see in the first picture how bright the tubes are and the colors inside are dead on for what’s inside the package.

The paints in my opinion are a lot more comparable to OCC Lip Tars in terms of scent because they both smell like Mint and texture because they both can be a bit runny. The pigmentation is certainly on point and once applied they are super easy to work with. I didn’t do lip swatches but if you want them I will happily supply them for you. I think they were a great and worthy purchase and $13.49 very well spent. I can’t wait to get the new shades especially the deep purple shade Tempt. They will be perfect for fall.

Do you have any of these lippies? What are your thoughts?

    1. I desperately wanted a mauvey color for the fall so that worked out for me. Coy is my fav. I want 3 of the new shades. Most of them are super light and clearly I’m not close to be light lol.
