Ever wonder how you can get the beautiful sun kissed glow when the sun is long gone? Well make it happen with with Revlon’s Photo Ready Skinlights Face Illuminator. Let’s get into this Bruce Leroy Glow!
The iconic skin illuminator is now better than ever. Banish dullness and even out skin with light capturing crystals and photochromatic pigments for a lit-from-within look.
This product is a drugstore brand face illuminator. It’s available in 4 shades, one to accommodate every skin tone. Now, I know that Sephora has a plethora of illuminator’s but when you want the beauty without spending a big buck this is where you need to be. It’s been compared to the Make Up Forever <insert name here> because I don’t have the bottle in front of me, Don’t judge me lol. I have them both and I’ll keep it real. I prefer this one and I’ll tell you why. This product has a thicker gel like consistency (see swatches below) and it gives a natural glow unlike MUF that has a boat load of glitter and is a lot more liquidy. This product can stand alone as just simply highlight on top of your make up for be mixed in with you foundation to give you an all over natural glow. It gives a healthy glow to your face and I promise you won’t be disappointed. The bottle is the standard 1.0 fl. oz of product and a little does indeed go a long way. I use a pea sized amount in the swatch and it covered the whole back of my hand. It retails for $12.99 and is available where Revlon products are sold. I’ll admit I only saw this in one store in my area which was CVS. I heard through the grapevine the lighter shades can be used on woman of color as well. It’s a great product, that blends well, and when applied to certain areas of your face and the light catches it…HUNNI #winning! Enough of my ramble lets get to the pictures.
It has a 24 month life expectancy.
That pea size amount would be all I needed to highlight the essential areas of my face. It has a pretty and natural sheen to it and doesn’t exaggerate your pores.
I’m not sure why I didn’t blend this all the way out but as you can see it’s a beautiful bronze color. This will be a staple in my make up life to keep me healthy and glowing. If any one wants a comparison on this and the MUF illuminator then let me know and I’ll be happy to oblige.
Do you have any of Revlon’s Skinlights? What are your thoughts?
