That Highlight Though|BH Cosmetics Wild & Radiant – Baked Illuminating & Bronzing Palette

Hi babies!

I’m back again with a first look at the fairly new BH Cosmetics Illuminating & Bronzing Palette. It released not long ago and when it came out I hopped on it immediately. It’s Summer after all and who doesn’t want to glow? I have swatches and some close ups for you, so if you are interested then hit the button and keep on reading!

Just look at this beautiful colors. There is literally a color in here for EVERYONE! Something for the palest of pale and the deepest of chocolate. I love when a company caters to every skin tone and doesn’t leave anyone out. It lets me know that you want me to wear your product when you deliver a product with all shades in mind.

The packaging is so well put together. It’s a hard cardboard with a magnetized closure that will make travel a lot easier. There is a plastic cover that is of course, removeable but it keeps your product intact if you chose to keep it there. The colors are vibrant and easy on the eyes and I personally love the print and color combo. You are provided with a great sized mirror as well. The back provides information about the product, ingredients, as well as an expiration date.

Now, upclose and personal these babies are beautiful! The pans are the size of a 50 Cent Piece.  I really enjoy the top right color because it’s the perfect shade of Rose Gold. It glides on smooth, not splotchy but can be a bit much for textured skin. These aren’t the kinds of highlights that give you that beach look, they give you more of a glow that looks a bit like you are sweating shimmer, if that makes any sense. I’m more of a glow from with in kinda girl but I must admit these are pretty and they have a great lasting power. They aren’t chalky and for the most part aren’t powdery.

Original: $20.00 Current Sale Price: $8.00

Top Left-True Bronze Gold

Top Right-Rose Gold

Bottom Left- Champagne

Bottom Right- True Gold

Now, the shades at the top are a bit more shimmery and have a lot more glitter in them. The 2 at the bottom are a lot more opaque. I think the bottom left if perfect for my paler beauties and the right is perfect for my chocolate babies. When blended on the skin, the one at the bottom right is simply gorgeous. It’s a beautiful Golden color that reminds me of Becca Topaz and this one gives a healthy glow because it doesn’t have as much shimmer or glitter. They are smooth to the touch and I recommend applying with a small duo fiber stipple brush. It will give a much lighter application so you won’t look like a disco ball, unless that’s the look you are going for,

The Verdict:

All in all, I think this is a great product to have. You get 4 well sized highlighters, great pigment, a mirror, and for just $8! Who can beat that?

I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have tried this product please let me know. Until next time….BE FABULOUS!
