Hey babes,
Just wanted to do a rapid review on these NYX Whipped Lip & Cheek Souffle. Now, in my experience products that claim to do both never pan out for me. This product is not the exception. This could very well be, simply because, I’m an oily girl and any kind of creamy type product, doesn’t do well. While, I couldn’t pull these off as a blush, they are wonderful on the lips. They actually remind me quite a bit of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. They have the same mousse like consistency. They apply a bit patchy but can be layered to get the desired opacity. They dry down to a satin finish and are not kiss proof. They have a lasting power of about hours or so without having foods with heavy oil. There was transfer while drinking but for the most part it stayed put with no bleeding however, I used a liner. I will include up close photos of the shades I purchased and the hand swatches. Overall, these are a good product for the price. They are super compact and travel friendly. Priced at $6.00, you can’t beat it!

Let me know how you like them. They really didn’t get much shine.

They probably didn’t shine much since they had a dual purpose. That could get kinda tricky on the cheeks, but if I try them I’ll let you know!

You’re probably right. Most dual purpose products fail short in one way or another.
